I'm a sixth year PhD student in mathematics at the University of Utah. I graduated from Louisiana State University in 2019 with a B.A. in philosophy and a B.S. in mathematics.

My research interests are in algebraic geometry, number theory, and commutative algebra. Currently I'm working on Bertini-type problems over finite fields. My advisor is Sean Howe.

Since fall 2020, I've been the K-12 outreach coordinator for the University of Utah's AWM chapter . We organize tutoring sessions, class presentations, and other activities for K-12 students in the Salt Lake area. Email me if you'd like to volunteer or if you have ideas for outreach activities!
